Thanks for reply! Than the first mission is clear. ...But how about the other mission ? I suppose I did something wrong, but those town wasn't under attack. It also was not supplied, so I assumed my flight had sense. Right? I'm a totally confused there. Did I dropped containers in wrong place maybe?

In my case "Alexandren-Tyrg" was in 41% suplied, so that is not the case. Kalarach tyrg was also in need of supply.

I got message "cargo unloading starts, etc.", then "Cargo succesfully unloaded, you may take off". I took off , landed at IASI back where I previously took off, and then I got again a message "Unloading starts"... That is why it's good to play once red once blue. Than you may see complete picture. I played last encounter Blue (last 20 years of IL-2 FB I played RED), now again Red side. I think you see only what you want to see. 1. True He-111 takes nice payload of bombs. That's a plus. 2. He-111 is terribly slow 230 IAS on climb, 290kmh IAS in cruise. With 4 x SC250 one can reach 5 000 - 5 500m altitude. 3. Survivability are very low. Usually 1 hit by 85mm AAA and bomber is lost. It doesn't' have to be a direct hit. Also 7,9mm MG 15 is useless against any fighter. 20mm you can place only in "wanne" or "Kanzelarie" - theys shoot only front. Pe-2 offers much better defence. Speed and good 12,7mm defence on most vulnerable sector. 4. Blue side lost all their maps in last campaigns. In spite of slightly bigger amount of players, slightly more flight hours etc. Are you seriously suggesting that red side is in unfair disadvantage? 5. H-6 is free, and takes 4x SC250, but any further update is insanely expensive up to a nonsense point. H-16 is just as slow as H-6, but better defensive armed. However in 1942 it's no use. It's too slow. Everyone likes Ju-88 more, because it's faster, and climbs higher. I took H-16 once to mission and then never again. Why? In case of plane lost there's massive money lost and score lost. In case of enemy fighters (like La-5 or Lagg-3) extra armament won't save you. My advice is - try He-111 first. It sounds like you didn't flew it much.

Hello Gent's I fly your virtual campaign for a first time, and I appreciate the "Front Line" very much. I'm going to fly it both sides to experience it fully. Right now I play German side, so I don't have a clear view on some aspects. I expect that playing Red Army will bring some other experiences. Having that in mind I'd like to point out couple problems: 1. Last action heroes. There is a Time limit on server. Reasons are obvious, however there is a problem. Some players exploit the rules. Usually it looks like that: -there is a garrison to defend, or the one that attacks. One side has airfield nearby ~10km Let's call them team A. Other side has an AF a bit further . Let's say 40km. Let's call them team B. The weather is clear, mission time 160 minutes and clock counts down. Team B conducts patrol over AO, provides cover for own bombers, fights off enemy ones. 120 minutes passed, and seems that team B lose that encounter, being all the time inactive/ ineffective in that sector. 20 minutes before mission end Team B flies home. Job well done. Surely they won. Right? no.... In last 15 minutes Team A - all 12 guys, took the bombers and hit the targets totally uncontested. No enemy there. What a coincidence you may think. But then it repeats. Mission after mission. 120 minutes of doing nothing, and then mad 20 minutes, right when you're going home. If it's ok for you , than I'll just adjust my expectations. In my opinion however, such behaviour is an exploit of the rules. Regards. I hope you'll find a solution. I have some other doubts, but I'll point them out after next campaign, after I'll experience the red army side.
