I flew a couple of cargo flights but when I land it says unloading failed, How do I go about doing cargo runs now?

I was thinking the other day. With some of the mechanics of how the server works,using supply planes to land and supply garrisons, how difficult would it be to have a mechanic where if you are downed within a certain distance of the front you could rescue your pilot,within a certain amount of time of course. I remember this being a thing at one point on FVP and always thought it was a cool little mechanic that you don't really see anywhere else other than maybe DCS. Also with regard to being downed on or near the front,is there some sort of percentage chance that you may not actually be captured and make it back to friendly lines? Eg; if you go down within 5-10km you have say a 50/50 chance of getting back to friendly lines,maybe even closer than 5 you could have a higher chance. This doesn't work near an enemy garrison be it a city or attack point.

Haven't been able to fly as much as I have wanted with going back to work but ideas for medals: I don't tank much but for flight I would think medals should be tied to pilot lifetime and lost with the loss of the pilot. So a flight medal for hours in the air and work in other medals based on airkills/ground kills. Perhaps an overall medal like Hero of the Soviet Union or Knight's Cross with oak leaves,swords and diamonds for overall scores,much like how the pilot ranks work. Maybe even some sort of medal if you get through the entire campaign without a death but this would be like the above medal. I think looking back at servers like FVP and how their medals worked on time in flight/air and ground kills worked may be a way to address where and how you get them.

Thanks. I did notice it a while back but that kinda makes sense. I have just been using the bomb sight weather report and getting good results.

Hey guys,got a question about the weather report in briefing and on the map on the website being different to the weather in the bomb sight. So whenever I have been bombing I try to first check the weather on both the site and the briefing once in game but it is more often than not different to both the way the wind blows the smoke in game and the bomb sight weather. Is this a game bug or server related?

So was thinking the other day. Is there any idea of using paratroops in the future plans for the server? I mean I know with the hardcore nature of the server I wouldn't be expecting landing 3 planes worth to make a huge difference to a point,but these could in tandem with attacking defensive garrisons weaken the line or create pockets in the rear line which would need taking care of.

Whilst you are correct, the way the scoring is hasn’t stopped anyone ,myself included, from being a lone wolf. Prior to the group setup I had quite often gone after targets alone and walked away without too much hassle. Also it has stopped players from flying up and down the map to grind rewards for zero risk on the back line and forces the player to participate in either attacking primary or secondary targets , cap and engaging or flying cargo runs. I agree that cargo runs should have a per km score , which has been implemented this rotation.

I think the way the server is setup works,it promotes flying in a group if you are flying a fighter as you can share points even if there is no action other than the strike guys getting bombs off or guns on.

Cole. Whilst I am not based in the US(New Zealand),most of the guys I fly with are and I think we all had to check our Junk folders for verification. Iirc I did change my in game name and it had no effect on my login here as Zlodey points out.

Hey guys.. Had an update today and none of us can get into the server now. How can we troubleshoot this? Did delete the Multiplayer/dogfight/mission folder and still couldn't get in

Cool. I think it might enhance the experience and lead to some really big raids with other groups.

Hey guys are you going to eventually look at using SRS radio with the server? Just to make it a bit easier to communicate with other players or do you guys use teamspeak or another voip program? Our group usually uses a private discord between our flight but would be really good for flight leaders to link up with other groups.
